Disney Villains: Evil Queen Turned Evil Witch Face Paint

Hey guys! So Today I’m bringing you an The Evil Witch body paint based on my childhood fears…  Seriously, when I was five my sister loved this movie, and I hated it because of the Evil Queen… Still kinda do… Snow White was never my favorite princess anyway, so it wasn’t a huge loss, but when the Queen goes batty? Oh no. But like the title suggests, this was a collab between BowsNnails and I, so be sure to check out her video which I will have linked below!

Evil Queen Snow White instaSo why did I hate/fear her?

Because she was that kind of evil that you friends say you’re just being paranoid about. There is nothing good about someone who can easily manipulate someone like that, even if Snow White was pretty naive. The room was getting dark and the Evil Queen still got Snow White to eat the freaking apple! That and her whole mental breakdown when she was trying to crush the dwarves with that boulder… that may have also kept me up for a while. Good on you though Karma!

So in my quest to find some interesting facts about the Evil Queen to sprinkle in here…

I found this one on Buzzfeed that did in fact gross me out to no end.

Lucille La Verne, the voice of the Wicked Queen, was able to achieve the raspy Old Hag’s voice by removing her dentures.

I think I gagged a little hearing that… don’t judge. And apparently I’m not the only kid who had a problem with this movie

After the film’s run at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, many of the velvet seat upholstery had to be replaced. Young children were so frightened by the sequences in the movie that they wet their pants, and consequently the seats.

So what Evil Witches gave you nightmares as a kid? Does this movie still freak anyone out?

Let me know down below! Also don’t forget to watch the tutorial for her look, and BowsNnail’s video as well 😀

  1. Halloween is my favourite holiday and I wish I had this much skills to paint my face and body for Halloween. Snow White is also one of my favourite Disney movies so I would want to do this.

  2. The Evil Queen was always a character that intrigued me and much like you Snow White was far too passive for my liking. Your interpretation of the Evil Queen is spot on x

  3. The things you do with makeup is nothing short of amazing. I have to admit .. I’m the biggest wuss when it comes to scary villains. I can’t even watch or I’ll be sleeping with the lights on for weeks!

  4. You have such great talent! I am amazed at how you can work with paints and brushes to come up with these looks! I am sharing this tutorial with my friend who is very interested in body painting.

  5. Great face paint for Halloween. Hope it doesn’t take too much time for beginners like ourselves. Thanks for the ideas.
