I keep passing the playlist for it and get a little sad lol. "Sometimes you fantasize that people who are really up there and rich and living it up have something you don't have, and their things must be better than your things because they have more money than you. But they drink the same Coke and eat the same hot dogs and wear the same clothes and see the same TV and the same movies. . . You can get just as revolted as they can -- you can have the same nightmares. All this is really American." -Andy Warhol In this day and age, we have all probably seen a pop art image
Throughout literature, fairies are one of the more popular mythical creatures. Fairies are seen as beings of light, workers of nature, and if all else fails, Tinkerbell. In different works, the term fairy can mean different things;sometimes fairy just means a magical being, other times they mean an etheral being or a sprite. Usually fairies are described as looking very human, although in a few folklore stories you could see them as deformed demons. In Middle English though, fairy means enchanted. Any fan of the Pokemon anime (and in some circles, way of life) will know of the iconic Pikachu, or atleast Ash's special Pikachu. Although they didn't have the best begining (Pikachu tried to kill Ash by electrocution more than a few times), but after a string of unfortunate events, and Ash proving that he would withstand a flock of uber pissed Spearrow to protect him, they became the best of friends. One of my favorite moments in the series had to be when Ash and friends went to Dark City and faced off with the feuding Electabuzz and Schyther.
One of my favorite trends this fall has to be the metallic eye seen on the runways of Jason Wu and Gucci. It's a smokey eye with a twist. Check out some pic of this look :) This fall, play with color- not only in your wardrobe but also on your eyes. Good colors for this trend is red, purple, black, and gun-metal. If you worry about fallout, apply a little extra powder under your eyes to act as a shield, and when you are done applying, just wipe it away! To make this look a little more "work appropriate" Stick
This fall is the time to bring out your darker side, atleast on your lips. Wine, mulberry, and darker berry lips were found all over the runway from Dior to Prada. Lips this season are also sticking with the matte trend, so if there's too much shine, powder your lips with a little translucent powder. Dry lips? Try using a lip balm like Eos before you start your makeup routine to give your lips a chance to soak it in before applying your lip stick.
