Hello Darlings, Today I'm showing you a different version of a smokey eye, almost a sweeter version. This is great for Valentine's Day, or even a romantic date. This look is even soft enough if you are brave enough to go to work with it. So speaking of dates, my perfect date (that also makes me seem like a granny) is staying at home, eating crap food with my boyfriend, and playing video games ;). What can I say? I love me some games. And, I'm pretty sure that last sentence's grammar just killed every English teacher I've ever had. I do
Hello fellow Horror Freaks :D The Bride of Frankenstien is one of the Horror genre's leading ladies; and yes she is a bit much to handle, but Mrs. Frankenstein can look glamorous too-especially if she is going to spend the night on the town scaring the bejezus out of unsuspecting villagers ;). So here is my Horrific version of the star of the show herself! Ok so maybe this one isn't so Horrortastic, but it's still fun and easy to do! And if you don't like the stitchy look, you can still do the eye look to get a glamorous smokey eye
“The other dolls sat upon the shelf and looked straight before them, for it would never do to let grown-up men know that dolls were really alive.” -Johnny Gruelle Raggedy Ann Stories Rag dolls are some of the oldest toys in history. It's no wonder either; they are easy to make, and with a child's imagination, easy to bring to life as well. They were made with scraps of material, and stuffed with it as well. The British Museum has a rag doll found in an Ancient Roman burial site of a child dating back to 300 BC (how's that for collectible?). Usually
"Sometimes you fantasize that people who are really up there and rich and living it up have something you don't have, and their things must be better than your things because they have more money than you. But they drink the same Coke and eat the same hot dogs and wear the same clothes and see the same TV and the same movies. . . You can get just as revolted as they can -- you can have the same nightmares. All this is really American." -Andy Warhol In this day and age, we have all probably seen a pop art image
Throughout literature, fairies are one of the more popular mythical creatures. Fairies are seen as beings of light, workers of nature, and if all else fails, Tinkerbell. In different works, the term fairy can mean different things;sometimes fairy just means a magical being, other times they mean an etheral being or a sprite. Usually fairies are described as looking very human, although in a few folklore stories you could see them as deformed demons. In Middle English though, fairy means enchanted. What do you guys think of when you hear the word fairy? So why did I decide to do a
Like many a youtuber and blogger, I went out and got the new Vice Pallette. Urban Decay is known for it's provocative eyeshadow names, the intense pigmentation, and the Naked Palettes ;). This new palette has 20 brand new shades. At first glance, this palette is something I would expect of Urban Decay- a perfect mix of darker and lighter shadows that has colors that are wearable, while still having something for the more adventurous side of us. For a quickie review, check out this video :). A more in depth review is right under. Packaging: One thing that immediately stands out is
Any fan of the Pokemon anime (and in some circles, way of life) will know of the iconic Pikachu, or atleast Ash's special Pikachu. Although they didn't have the best begining (Pikachu tried to kill Ash by electrocution more than a few times), but after a string of unfortunate events, and Ash proving that he would withstand a flock of uber pissed Spearrow to protect him, they became the best of friends. One of my favorite moments in the series had to be when Ash and friends went to Dark City and faced off with the feuding Electabuzz and Schyther.
